Riffwise is designed so that your music stays on your device. The developer does not collect, store or receive any personal data.
Audio you add is copied into the app's own storage on your device and analysed there. It is never uploaded. Deleting a song, or the app, deletes it.
The tuner and Listen mode use the microphone only while those screens are open. Audio is processed as it arrives and is not recorded or sent anywhere.
When you ask for a lesson, the song's chord names, key, tempo and section order are sent to Apple Intelligence, either on your device or through Apple's Private Cloud Compute. The audio and the song's title are not included. Apple's handling of these requests is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Optional tips are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer receives no payment details.
Riffwise has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking.
