Data Collection

Sekshun8 does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No account creation or login is required
• No personal data is collected, stored, or shared
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising software is used
• The app makes no network requests of its own
• Nothing you type or convert ever leaves your device

The Sekshun8 Keyboard

Sekshun8 includes an optional custom keyboard. Because Apple requires it, iOS displays a notice that a custom keyboard "shares data with the app." Here is exactly what that means for Sekshun8:

• The keyboard does not request or use "Allow Full Access"
• It has no network access and cannot transmit anything
• Keystrokes are converted on your device and inserted directly into whatever app you are typing in
• What you type is never recorded, saved, logged, or sent anywhere
• The only information shared with the main app is your chosen style settings, such as the selected cipher and complexity level

Data Stored on Your Device

The following is saved locally on your device only, and is never uploaded:

• Your conversion history and pinned favorites
• Your preferences, such as accent color, style, and complexity

This data is stored in a private app group container shared between Sekshun8 and its keyboard, share extension, and widget. You can clear your history at any time from the History screen. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Apple Intelligence

Some optional features, such as the codename generator and the daily challenge hint, use Apple Intelligence. These run entirely on your device using Apple's on-device foundation models. No text is sent to us or to any third-party server. These features are hidden automatically on devices that do not support Apple Intelligence.

Purchases

Sekshun8 is free, and every feature is unlocked. The app offers optional tips as in-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. The app records only a local count of how many tips you have left, stored on your device.

Children's Privacy

Sekshun8 does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
